Here we are to share a new important moment for us which involves our passion and our unstoppable creative work. Studio Volpi back again this year to win the prestigious award for design and innovation GOOD DESIGN AWARDS promoted by the Chicago Athenaeum (Museum of Architecture and Design) and by the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The award is given to the most innovative projects of the year and the award-winning products are exhibited permanently in the Chicago Athenaeum.

For the category "COMMERCIAL" has been noted the "Carthego Table Top Hot Drinks Vending Machine" designed for the Saeco company. It is a machine designed to be configured as a modular structure: it is a Table Top Hot Drinks that, together with the cabinet, it can become freestanding and, combined with the Mini Snack, it become a distributor Combi Hot & Snack, and dispenses both hot drinks, cold drinks and snacks. This elegant dispenser is the ideal piece of furniture for offices and medium locations. This project combines minimalist design, elegant, flat, technological and modern, precious details. The formal elegance makes precious the concept of interactivity that allows the user of the machine -during break time- to connect to the network, check his inbox or news from internet. The Touch Screen modernizes the use of the machine, translating a light touch in action, drawing the consumer's attention with images or movies. For the category "ELECTRONIC" won "Sigma ETM Wireless Automatic Ticketing System" the latest evolution of the automatic ticketing system created by SIGMA & Studio Volpi for Trenitalia / Frecciarossa. Using rechargeable batteries and wireless communication complete, is a unique solution for mobile. Technological innovation is targeted to meet the needs of customers and results in the creation of a unique design(in terms of usability) and the use of materials such as glass making up the front. Everything is at hand for the user (monitor, barcode, ticketing and Pos). The wheels placed at the bottom of the machine, it increases flexibility, it can be moved and repositioned quickly on the docks of the tracks in the peak times of travelers. The design of the back cover allows to "hide" the soul of technology allowing, at the same time, an inspection accessible in all its components. That's all for now and...see you to the next Good Design Award! Studio Volpi Team "Design made in Italy"
