Studio Volpi, a renewed success in the Electronics category as well.
If last year Studio Volpi was awarded for the Burlodge cart and Ducati bicycles, this year the "Good Design Awards 2010" was conferred for a product in the Electronics category. This is a clear acknowledgement of the strength and quality of the multidisciplinary approach that has been characterizing Studio Volpi for eighteen years.
Research and development, but also design and ease of use. The award went to the 11mm-thick VMF-E4 thermostat, a wall mounted user interface with an appealing design, created for Aermec. On the wings of the eagles The prestigious "Good Design Award", now in its 60th year, was set up in 1950 by architects Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames, and Edgar Kaufmann. It is organized annually by "The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design" together with "The European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies". The purpose of this award is to bring to worldwide prominence the most advanced and innovative products and graphics created by manufacturers and designers from all over the world. And this year, once again, Studio Volpi is one of them.
