The inaugural event for Quarry UP presentation was a real success. We welcomed lots of curious and enterprising young people in Studio Volpi and Quarry UP headquarters in a buzzing and festive atmosphere: we told them how this project was first ideated and what we would like it to become in the future, starting from this year with its focus on digital applied to industry.

For this year edition of our traditional Christmas video, we documented a very large event we organized in one of the many beautiful squares our country is full of. We wanted to share with you a special moment, a short bit of life where two big reindeers (of 2 meters’ height) were built using an origami technique named papercraft.

This year, the second edition of Studio Volpi’s original calendar has been assigned to Matteo Ceretto Castigliano, a prominent artist belonging to the European graffiti scene. Our limited-edition calendars will be numbered and autographed.

Since the end of March, we have been working in our new headquarters. A new, design location which inspired and still inspires us. Not only a bigger or a nicer office, but most of all a place where innovation and technology are at its core.

It really is our turning point: indeed, in a few months we will be moving to our new headquarters, located in a 1952 former textile mill, restored and brought to a new light...

This year, Studio Volpi Design Studio asked artist Erique LaCorbeille to design its calendar. She created two different works for the occasion. Each copy of the calendar is numbered and is thus unique.
